Upon Making a Shuttle Reservation (not car service), the Passenger Enters into an Agreement (Contract for Services)to Abide by the Terms and Conditions Set Forth Below.

Shuttle Definition

Passengers are Aware that a Shuttle is Able to Carry More Than One Party at a Timeand Can Make Intermediary Stops Along The Route for any Reason. The Passenger Agrees to thisand Agrees to Allow Enough Time When Making a Reservation to Allow for Other Pickups and or Dropoffs. The Management Will Assist the Passenger in Determining the Appropriate Timing of Pickup/Dropoff When the Reservation is Made and Make Known Immediately, if Other Reservations Have Been Made for the Time/Date in Question. An AdditionalFee for a Private Trip is Possible.top of page

Highway 17

The Passenger is aware that Highway 17 has the Most Traffic Accidents Per Mile of any Highway in California According to the CHP (approximately2.5 per day). Unfortunately,Highway 17is the Main and Only DirectArtery From Santa Clara County to Santa Cruz County. All Attempts Will be Made to Ensure Timeliness of Your Departures and Arrivals. However, Surf City Shuttle will not be Responsible for any Delays due to Traffic Accidents, Closures or Slow Downs. Additionally, Surf City Shuttle may contract with other carriers or employ a staged itinerary to ensure schedule integrity.top of page

Pre-Payments

The Passengers Credit Card Will be Pre-Authorizedfor ALL RESERVATION REQUESTS andPayment Will be Received and/or Processed Beginning One Week Prior to Travel, Otherwise There is no Contract or Reservation. OnceA Reservation RequestHas Been Receivedand A Credit Card Pre-Authoriztion Has Been Approved a ReservationNowExists. AReservationRequestMadeWithin Seven Calendar Days of Travel Will Be Processed Immediately or Payment isDue Immediatelyat the Timethe Reservation Requestis Made. AReservationWill Exist Once Payment is Received.A Dispatcher Fee of $15 Will Apply for all Cancellations.A Dispatcher Fee for an Uncompleted TripDue to Reasons Beyond the Driver's Control Will be Chargedon a Prorated Basis. top of page

Cancellations

Cancellations Without 24-hour Notice Will be Charged the Full Rate and NOT REFUNDED. At the Discretion of the Management, Cancellations Within the 24-HourNotice PeriodMay be Held as a Credit for Future Travel.The Passenger is Hereby Made Aware That Any Change to the Reservation Once the Reservation is MadeWill Likely Cause a Time Conflict With Other Passengers and Will Only be Considered at the Discretion of the Management. A Separate Agreement May be Required in this Instance For Passengers Making Changes to Existing Reservations. top of page

Refunds

Cancellation Refunds will be Processed in a Timely Manner not to exceed 10 Business Days after Written Request of Refund is Received. top of page

Pickups

Pickups Between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am are Assesed a $15.00Early/Late PickupFee. At the Driver's Discretion, Earlier Departure Times from Santa CruzMay be Requiredto Account for Road Conditions and Driving Times. If this Occurs, the Early/Late Pickup Fee Will Not be Assessed Unless Already Contracted For. top of page

Drop Offs

Drop-Offs Will Proceed in the Same Order as Passengers are Picked Up. This Means, That Passengers Picked Up First Will Be Dropped Off First, Unless a Passenger Picked Up Later Has a Drop-Off Address WithinOne-Mile Driving Distance of any Point Along the Route in the Direction of the First Passenger's Drop Off Point. top of page

Phone Calls

A Phone Call to the Driver is REQUIRED for Airport Pickups at the Airport, Either by Cell Phone or Pay Phone UNLESS the "Meet & Greet Option" has been purchased. The Driver Will be Waiting in a Cell Phone WaitingArea at the Airport.If Upon Arrival you Must Clear Customs, you Must Call the Driver Upon Deplaning, the Driver then has 60 Minutes to Reach you at Arrivals in the International Terminal. top of page

International Flights

International Flights are a special case when the passenger must clear customs in a San Francisco or MontereyBay Area Airport. The Passenger MUST call once Deplaning or once having entered the customs area. If the PassengerDoes Not Call There isNO Guarantee of a Pickup Within the 60-minute Time Limit. A phone call when Deplaning or from the Customs Area will Have the Effect of Starting the Clock and the Driver has 60 Minutes to Reach International Arrivals at the Terminal Building. top of page

Gaurantee

Once the Driver Who is Picking Up Passengers at the Airport Receivesa Call from the Passenger, We WillGaurantee Pickup Within 30 Minutes (60 minutes if going through customs)or you Will Receive a $15 Credit. The 30-Minute Clock Will Start After the ScheduledArrival Time forEarly Flight Arrivals. This Policy Will Not Remain in Force for Late-Plane Arrivals.top of page

Late Plane Arrivals

Late Plane Arrivals or Flight Delays of 30 Minutes or More May Result in an AirportPickup Delay of up to, but no More Than140 Minutes. top of page

Service Area

The Regular Service Area Includes: Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Capitola, Soquel, Aptos (north of Park Ave. Exit), Scotts Valley, Felton. Not Included are Watsonville, Davenport, Bonny Doon, Brookdale, Boulder Creek, Aptos (south of Park Ave.) For These Areas Not Included in the Regular Service Area a $15 Extra Mileage Charge Will Be Assessed. top of page

Disorderly Conduct

Disorderly Conduct Inside the Vehicle is Disrespectful to the Other Passengers, the Driver and is Unsafe.Disorderly ConductWill Not be Tolerated. Two Warnings Will be Given to Passengers who are, in the Driver's Opinion, being Disorderly. If the Passenger'sDisorderly Conduct Continues After Two Warnings are Given, The PassengerWill Thenbe Considered in Violation ofhis or her Agreement to Abide by the Terms and Conditions Herein Set Forth (Breach of Contract). Additionally, The PassengerWillThen be Asked to Exit the Vehicle at the First Safe Opportunity. The Passenger Will, Also,Forfeit the Right to Receive any Reimbursement for any Portion of the Trip in Which the Incident Occurred. In Addition, the Police and Other Transportation Companies in the Area Will Be Notified of the Incident. top of page
